Besides providing the traditional partial frames and full dentures that utilize state of the art technology such as induction casting and Ivocap injection processing, we also fabricate other popular restorations. Our removable departments are also fully trained in all of the current implant and attachment technologies.

Digitally Printed Dentures

Sherer Dental Lab is proud to offer digitally printed dentures.  This technology brings the precision, speed, and accuracy of digital CAD/CAM automation to removable dentistry.  This process allows Dentists to offer their patients a precise fitting, aesthetic denture in as little as two appointments!

Full Dentures

We use high quality VITA denture teeth in our dentures to ensure the highest level of esthetics and wear resistance.  No matter what type of occlusion you prefer, our denture setups provide optimal function and an esthetic placement of the denture teeth.

The fit of a denture base is as important as the setup.  Sherer Dental Lab has invested in the only injection processing system that compensates for the polymerization shrinkage.  Since there is no shrinkage in the denture base, the fit of our dentures is far superior to traditional methods of denture processing.  This results in chair-side time savings and increased patient comfort.  This premium method of processing is included at no additional charge on all our full and partial dentures.

Flexible Partials

Constructed from a unique injected material which is flexible yet exceptionally tough, this thermoplastic partial is virtually unbreakable, monomer free, color fast, and extremely esthetic.  Patients find the flexible partial very comfortable and esthetically pleasing.

Splints and Night Guards

Comfort Bite Splint and Comfort H/S Bite Splint

Reduce the risk of wear and tear on your patients' natural teeth and restorations by prescribing a Comfort Splint.  The Comfort Splint is available in two versions:

Comfort Bite Splint:  Hard, non-flexible surface

Comfort H/S Bite Splint:  Hard outer surface with soft inner layer that rests comfortably against the teeth and gums.

Bruxguard Occlusal Splints

Extremely Hard - Yet Slightly Flexible

The Bruxguard material is a clear thermoplastic-acrylic hybrid that feels just like a conventional hard processed acrylic, but without the usual uncomfortable feel associated with the hard appliances. Just prior to delivery, place the splint into a bowl of hot tap water for a few minutes. Remove and seat. The material "softens" just enough to allow for easy insertion and a comfortable fit, yet doesn't get soft enough to distort against the opposing occlusion.

Anti-Snoring Appliances

The Snoreguard

The SNOREGUARD is a dental appliance, similar to an orthodontic device or an athletic mouthguard. It is worn during sleep and positions the mandible in such a way as to prevent the soft tissues from collapsing and thereby constricting the airway. The SNOREGUARD is custom made to fit each individual patient and their unique condition.

The major function of this appliance (as with all other snoring devices) is to hold the mandible in a forward and slightly open position. This jaw relation holds the soft tissues forward and away from the throat, thereby reducing or eliminating the snoring habit. Studies have shown that in 98% of the population, the mandible can be extended 5-8mm with no detrimental effects on the joint or musculature. This is normally sufficient advancement to alleviate the snoring habit.

Myerson EMA Oral Appliance

The American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) now recommends oral appliances like the Myerson EMA Appliance as a front line of treatment for snoring and mild to moderate sleep apnea, and in cases where CPAP has not been tolerated. The FDA has approved the myerson ema appliance for the treatment of both obstructive sleep apnea and snoring.
